Welcome to FROGS.ORG!

We're glad you're visiting, and we'd like to tell you a little bit about who we are.

Our Nonprofit Mission: To Conserve Amphibians
FROGS.ORG is an independent, nonprofit organization based on the internet. Our mission is to educate, inspire, and support citizens to conserve amphibians worldwide.

Our "Umbrella" Group: The Respected Tides Center
We're a project of Tides Center in San Francisco, which means that all donations we receive are tax-deductible. Tides Center is a well regarded nonprofit group that supports other nonprofits with core legal, financial, and management services.

Our History and Approach: Support Frogs First
FROGS.ORG was founded in 2000 as a spin-off project of Amphibian Conservation Alliance to provide a powerful internet resource dedicated to amphibian conservation, not just one particular amphibian conservation group.  We pursue this mission in two ways.  First, we provide educational services directly to the general public.  Second, we support other people and groups working to conserve amphibians.  For example, we accept donations on behalf of other amphibian conservation groups, and we provide free web hosting to qualified applicants.

Our Team: All Pros
An Advisory Board of amphibian conservation experts oversees our mission and programs.  Fiscally, FROGS.ORG is governed by the Board of Directors of Tides Center.  I (Paul Speck) conceived the project and designed and built the web architecture.  Our content is produced mainly by Content Partners.

Our Customer: You
FROGS.ORG is your site.  If you find FROGS.ORG informative and helpful, then we are doing our job.  If not, please tell us how to improve—just write me at paul@frogs.org.  Thank you for your support and feedback!  We appreciate your visit.
